Cotton & Son is a family owned and run Funeral Directors which has been serving the community of Weymouth, Portland and the surrounding areas for over 100 years. Established in 1912, we have been providing families with care and support, guiding them through each step of arranging a funeral in a dignified and professional manner.

Cotton & Son is run under the personal supervision of Jane Cotton. Jane’s late husband Peter was the third generation of the Cotton family, following his father John and grand-father Edward into the business.
Jane is ably assisted by Principal Funeral Director and Office Manager Margaret Sherratt, who has been with the company since 2005, and Funeral Director Nathan Westwood who joined the company in 2008. All three are qualified Funeral Directors through the NAFD (National Association of Funeral Directors).
Along with a professional and sympathetic team of funeral assistants, bearers and drivers, Cotton & Son is a well-established and close-knit ‘family team’.
